Session 6 – TELLING PEOPLE THAT YOU EXIST

Now we must tell the world – ‘I am here, how can I help?’

 I am working with a great guy vincentbyrne.ie, we sometimes disagree, but there is no doubt that the business coaching online course he is building is full of gems.

I was thinking about  people getting started in business and all the pitfalls involved and I was thinking about how we, i the network marketing business tell people about what we do, and he has it spot on

  1. This is who I am!
  2. These are my qualifications!
  3. This is my great product or service
  4. This is my great company
“We say all of these things in the belief that we will impress the potential customer and that will get them to hire us or buy from us. But we all know that when we are buying, that none of that stuff is very important because it is more about whether you can answer the question in whatever way it is asked ‘Can you help me?’”
 
And this is the key, “Can you help me?”
People will consider working for themselves for many reasons so why should they work with you?  Vincent summarises what the approach should be:
  1. How can I help?
  2. These are the people that I typically help. Are you one of them?
  3. What kind of problems or challenges do you have?
  4. These are the problems that I fix
  5. This is why I do what I do
  6. These are examples of the way that our help has impacted on people

In the network marketing business:

  • How can I help? What is the reason WHY you are looking for an opportunity, or the opportunity to work for yourself?
  • These are the people that I typically help. Are you one of them?  I help people eho either, are already working for themselves, realise it is the way, but need something to work with, without the overheads. Or, the employee who realises that they (as I was) are sick and tired of being sick and tired, but never thought they could raise the money to start their own business.
  • What kind of problems or challenges do you have? Lack of start up funding, lack of customers, lack of money for stock, don’t like selling, can’t collect money abroad, don’t know how!
  • These are the problems that I fix
  • This is why I do what I do: As I said above, I was continually frustrated, loved the people I worked with (well most of them!), I loved the customers (ditto), I was sick and tired of it all.  But WHY is around family, my family, that I want to be here for them, every day, I want to enjoy them rowing up and growing old. self for ten years, I want to do this with ACN.

We are looking for people who want to have a shop on every corner of the Internet, selling services people are using every day anyway, so they might as well pay it through your shop and help you make money!
